Linea Research has announced FIR capable versions of its four-channel amplifiers, allowing users to import loudspeaker manufacturer’s ‘greybox’ FIR settings.

‘This latest addition has been much requested and will allow our users even more flexibility,” saysLinea Research Director, Davey Smalley. ‘With more and more loudspeaker manufacturers implementing FIR based processing, our ability to delivery these in the amplifier allows designers to reduce the amount of centralized signal processing required while benefiting from some of our more specialised features, such as virtual crossover limiting and linear phase filters.’
