Studio furniture designer and manufacturer Zoar has added the Marea media workstation to its line of Classic Series studio furniture, designed to accommodate the current generation of compact mixing consoles and associated equipment.
Marea is both proportioned to cater for differently shaped and angled digital mixers and DAW controllers, including the SSL Nucleus, Behringer X32 and PreSonus StudioLive, in a dedicated mixer tray. A laptop can be sat in the flat surface to its left or right, while a bridge section holds up to 6U of rack outboard. Two large computer monitors can comfortably stand side-by-side on a flat surface behind. With a 1.58m by 1.1m footprint, the design team also takes care of cable management
The Marea media workstation itself is supported by sturdy solid wood legs.
Marea’s neutral black-coloured body is intended to blend into contemporary studio surroundings, while its side panels, legs and armrest can be left natural blond or stained cherry, walnut, mahogany or black, per purchaser’s preference.
