Optimised for mid-sized Microsoft Teams Rooms of up to ten people, Sennheiser’s TeamConnect Intelligent Speaker (TC ISP) is designed specifically to give teams a means to collaborate in hybrid meetings that is smart, focused and as if everyone is in one space.

The TC ISP speakerphone can be fully utilised the after installing it in a Microsoft Teams Room. A user-friendly set-up requires no audio preparation, nor additional devices like a laptop or tablet. The unit offers a single button for mic muting, and a light to indicate mute status. The speaker will also transcribe the meeting in real time while identifying up to ten different voices in the room.
Microsoft Teams users can join Microsoft Teams instantly and without physical touch, as the TeamConnect Intelligent Speaker understands voice commands and responds seamlessly to them. Microsoft Cortana voice intelligence allows users to control the mic verbally for video conferencing and team meetings.
With its loudspeaker and seven beamforming microphones, the TC ISP covers a 3.5m radius and ensures high speech intelligibility with excellent double-talk performance. The omnidirectional microphone takes less time for set-up and resolves technical difficulties, leaving more time for collaboration and productivity.
For remote participants or those who are hard of hearing, live transcription gives a new seat at the table for immersive and supportive collaboration, without any drawbacks or limitations. The corresponding transcription documents are available immediately after the meeting for teamwork without any barriers at any level.
On its launch, the voice attribution transcription service on Teams only supported English speaking US based customers. This has now been expanded such that TC ISP currently supports 16 languages:
