PreSonus has added the Eris E7 XT to its line of studio loudspeaker monitors.
The Eris E7 XT is intended for moderate-size and some mid-large studio spaces, loaded with a 7-inch woofer and 1.25-inch silk dome tweeter. With input via XLR, TRS and RCA connections, the E7 XT features the same 140W of class-AB biamped power as the larger E8 XT, and can deliver bass down to 42Hz despite its compact form factor. Like the E8 XT and smaller E5 XT, the Eris E7 XT is equipped with PreSonus’ proprietary Elliptically Boundary Modeled waveguide, which enables clear and accurate dispersion across a wide 100° ‘sweet spot’ with a focused 60° in the vertical to minimise desk reflections.
Like the E8 XT and E5 XT, the E7 XT is designed to be extremely flexible, offering acoustic tuning controls that enable it to be to adapted to the room’s response, and for placement close to walls or corners.
Eris E7 XT is available now at an expected street price of US$229.95 each.
