Dynaudio Professional has announced the BM Compact Mk.III, BM5 Mk.III, BM6 Mk.III and BM12 Mk.III close-field monitors, alongside the BM9S II and BM14S II subwoofers.
The smaller BM Compact Mk.III and BM5 Mk.III models both have improved frequency response and SPL, through updated driver design and the use of class-D amplifiers. Each model now has an auto standby mode, as well as both XLR and RCA input connectors. The BM6 Mk.III and BM12 Mk.III have been revoiced, and now use Dynaudio’s waveguide for high frequencies. Both of the BMS II subwoofers have been optimised to compliment the new range of Mk.III close-field monitors.
Additionally, each of the BM Mk.III monitors comes with a dual-branded IsoAcoustics monitor stand that allows the monitors to ‘float’ in free space. BM Compact Mk.III and BM5 Mk.III come with an ISO-L8R 155 stand, while the BM6 Mk.III and BM12 Mk.III come with ISO-L8R 200 stands.
Dynaudio Professional close-fields and subwoofers are designed to work together and are supported by a range of accessories – new mounting solutions for larger studios and broadcasters, precision level controls for the desktop, the Volume Box for BM Compact Mk.III, TC Level Pilot for BM6 Mk.III and BM12 Mk.III, and the TC Electronic BMC-2 Monitor Controller.
