dBTechnologies has upgraded its DVX series of sound reinforcement loudspeakers.

The DVX HP series comprises four multi-functional two way systems, all of which boast an large feature set, multifunctional birch multiplex housings equipped with rigging points and rail. Versatile and robust, the DVX series addresses PA hire and sound reinforcement companies suitable for both mobile applications and fixed installation.

Ranging from the 8-inch/1-inch DVX D8 HP through to the 15-inch/1.4-inch DVX D15 HP, the flexibility of the four multi-funtional cabinets allows use as full range systems, combinations of mid-/high-range units and subwoofers, monitors, side-fills or delay lines.

Each unit incorporates digipro G2 power amplifier technology, delivering up to 1.4kW. An integrated DSP serves as an active equaliser, crossover and high-pass filter.

The DVX HP series will ship in Q3 2012.
