Tascam has announced the TM-70 Dynamic Microphone – ‘a unique hybrid of supercardioid and dynamic elements, resistant to ambient noise and ideally voiced to handle the nuances of the human voice’.
Aimed at live broadcasting, podcasting, film dialogue recording and audio streaming, the TM-70 Dynamic Microphone offers a supercardioid polar pattern and frequency response of 30Hz–20kHz isolating sound sources such as directional dialogue. Being specifically tuned and ready for podcasting, dialogue, broadcast and streaming, the TM-70 delivers mix-ready audio without extensive tweaking of EQ settings or the use isolation baffling.
The TM-70 Dynamic Microphone package ships a shockmount to reduce low-frequency rumble, a 6ft mic cable and a tabletop mic stand.
The Tascam TM-70 Dynamic Microphone is expected to be available Q1, 2021.
