Tascam has announced the TM-70 Dynamic Microphone – ‘a unique hybrid of supercardioid and dynamic elements, resistant to ambient noise and ideally voiced to handle the nuances of the human voice’.

Tascam TM-70 Dynamic MicrophoneAimed at live broadcasting, podcasting, film dialogue recording and audio streaming, the TM-70 Dynamic Microphone offers a supercardioid polar pattern and frequency response of 30Hz–20kHz isolating sound sources such as directional dialogue. Being specifically tuned and ready for podcasting, dialogue, broadcast and streaming, the TM-70 delivers mix-ready audio without extensive tweaking of EQ settings or the use isolation baffling.

The TM-70 Dynamic Microphone package ships a shockmount to reduce low-frequency rumble, a 6ft mic cable and a tabletop mic stand.

The Tascam TM-70 Dynamic Microphone is expected to be available Q1, 2021.
