From its pioneering work in the development of the synthesiser, Moog has covered almost every technological platform in its musical equipment heritage. Recently, the company revived some of its most legendary instruments, such as the Model 10 modular, and introduced professional music apps that have exceeded 1m downloads.
Moog’s latest reimagining of its most influential analogue designs has seen the release of Moogerfooger Effects Plug-ins. Compatible with all major DAWs (Windows and macOS) in AUv2, VST3 and AAX formats, this new software version of Moog’s retired effects pedal collection makes the Moog sound more accessible than ever.
Moogerfooger Effects Plug-ins are a re-invention of Moog’s coveted analogue effects pedals, designed by Bob Moog and his engineering team from in 1998 through the2000s. The Moogerfooger effects pedals were direct descendants of original Moog modular synthesiser modules, adapted to process, modulate and play with inputs ranging from guitar, voice and synthesiser to any audio source. From the MF-104’s lush analogue delay to the 12-stage phasing of the MF-103 and legendary resonant ladder low-pass filter in the MF-101, Moogerfoogers are become renowned for their sound and have been adopted by studios and performers around the world.
Each of the original seven effects – the MF-101 Lowpass Filter, MF-102 Ring Modulator, MF-103 12-Stage Phaser, MF-104M Analog Delay, MF-105M MIDI MuRF, MF-107 Freqbox and MF-108M Cluster Flux – have been meticulously renewed, reviving the distinctive character of the original analogue circuits.
With stereo operation and extended feature sets, the Moogerfooger plug-ins tailor classic Moogerfooger functionality to the modern digital environment, including automation of all parameters and the ability to save and manage presets.
