Waves Audio has announced Waves SuperRack SoundGrid V14, with offline editing, Apple Silicon support and further upgrades.

Waves has added an offline mode to the existing SuperRack SoundGrid application that allows sessions to be set up offline, anytime, anywhere, from any laptop or desktop. It is available via a separate licence (free of charge), and will load like the regular SuperRack SoundGrid but will not pass audio.

Waves Audio SuperRack SoundGrid V14SuperRack SoundGrid V14 has full Apple Silicon compatibility, expanded multi-language support, channel colours, performance improvements and bug fixes.

Built and optimised for speed, SuperRack SoundGrid is a plug-in rack for FOH, monitor, broadcast and A/V engineers that can run up to 64 stereo multichannel racks, through multiple instances of Waves’ plug-ins, with near-zero latency.

SuperRack SoundGrid handles plug-in processing on an external SoundGrid DSP server to significantly increase plug-in count, minimise latency and enable the host and I/O devices to be far apart from each other, to accommodate complex set-ups.

‘Designed with a short set-up time, flexible touch-friendly workspace and unlimited workflow customisation,’ the manufacturer says, ‘SuperRack SoundGrid enables FOH, monitor, broadcast and A/V engineers to run any show with speed and confidence.’
