Sweden’s Lindell Audio has released three 500 series rack processors – the 6X-500 microphone preamp and passive EQ, the 7X-500 FET compressor, and the PEX-500 passive EQ.
The 6X-500 is a single-channel transformer coupled microphone preamplifier and two-band Pultec equaliser. The 7X-500 is Lindell’s take on the classic 1176, a single-channel compressor/limiter using a FET (field effect transistor) design that incorporates some ‘new and exclusive features’, while the PEX-500 is a single-channel, transformer-coupled passive Pultec equaliser, an all-discrete design, based on the 990 amplifier.
6X-500:
