Waves Audio has released the H-Reverb plug-in.
Based on algorithmic FIR (Finite Impulse Response) reverberation technology, the process reckons to generate ‘richer, deeper reverb tails that sit beautifully in the mix while breathing crisp air into your tracks’.
The FIR engine that powers H-Reverb allows the reverb decay envelope to be shaped and customised beyond standard linear forms for gated, real reverse and dense reverb tails. H-Reverb also incorporates Waves advanced analogue modelling along with a drive control, offering signal behaviour previously found exclusively in high-end hardware reverbs. This design also enables input drive, a technique favoured by many top engineers.
‘We went to great lengths to make this the most comprehensive and best-sounding reverb plug-in possible, incorporating invaluable input from industry-leading mixing engineers,’ says Mick Olesh, Waves EVP of Sales & Marketing.
