Work has introduced BlueLine, its solution for audio control and distribution.

According to the Spanish manufacturer, BlueLine offers ‘much more than a multichannel system, due to features such as the selection of different sources to different zones, the individual volume control of each speaker, or the control of the entire system via RS485 or RS232’. It achieves this through a single Cat5 cable, simplifiying the installation, and saving time and costs.

BlueLine supports up to 256 zones, with seven audio channels and one local channel in each zone, and alarm system support. Using Work’s LM5 with BlueLine makes it possible to configure and ccontrol a system using an Apple iOS device such as an iPhone or iPad.

Another advantage of BlueLine system is the ability to install a local controller in each zone. This allows selection of audio sources and volume control, independent of the other parts of the installation. Each zone features an additional audio input – for voice applications or local music in a hotel room, for example.
