The latest firmware update for TC Electronic’s Clarity X monitoring system improves its ability to set up sweet spots and adjust subwoofers be more precise, and reduces the calibration time from hours to minutes in many cases.
With the addition of a speaker calibration wizard, operators can set up to four user-defined focal points in a room, ensuring that not only the audio engineer but also the producer or client can be served with optimum sound. Calibration is unprecedentedly simple and quick, as the engineer is lead through a step-by-step procedure, double-checking that all settings are optimal for all connected speakers.
Management of the subwoofer has also been optimised, as the calibration wizard sports multi-spot sub calibration, which greatly improves the precision of the lower frequencies.
