TC Electronic Loudness Pilot

TC Electronic Loudness Pilot TC Electronic has released Loudness Pilot, a multiple stereo and mono loudness controller and true-peak limiter for TV and radio station applications.

Supporting two stereo audio tracks, the unit is fully compliant with all major loudness and broadcast standards. Its design enables broadcasters to transmit two signals simultaneously in different languages on a single unit. Additionally, it will automatically switch over to another audio-stream, should a secondary language not be available.

Transmitting to TV and to a mobile platform simultaneously, Loudness Pilot delivers a signal fully compliant with TV standards – optimising the signal to the mobile platform at the same time.

Key features:

· Dual Stereo on SDI or AES for dual language content or two simultaneous platforms.

· Dual power, dual fuses, dual fans and relay bypass, plus automatic switchover to another audio-stream.

· Compliant with ITU BS.1770-3, ATSC A/85, EBU R128, ARIB TR-B32, OP-59.

· Radar Meter Option – overview of loudness history, momentary loudness, true-peak level, programme loudness and loudness range.
