Powersoft has appointed Giacomo Previ as Sales Manager for OEM Solutions.
Based at Powersoft’s headquarters in Scandicci, near Florence, Previ counts 25 years’ experience in pro audio, most recently with Italian speaker manufacturer Eighteen Sound. He is already familiar with Powersoft’s IPAL technology, following the use of IpalMod amplifier hardware module by Eighteen Sound.
Prior to overseeing all sales activities at Eighteen Sound, he held a marketing-focused post at Loud Technologies in Amsterdam where he drove the MarComms for its brands, supporting branches and independent distributors.
At Powersoft, Previ is tasked with managing international OEM sales, exploring strategic business development opportunities, and identifying technologies and innovations for future market needs. Responsible for the P&L of the OEM Solutions Division, he will also manage the sales support team of six people, and workwith customer care and marketing to guarantee service levels and exposure in the market – as well as directly managing some key accounts to support the regional sales managers.
Offering support to OEM partners from the design phase, Powersoft recognisies the importance of sharing its experience. In addition, the company offers OEM partners complete EMI/safety certifications, CB reports and all documentation needed to speed up the process and reduce costs. With a growing worldwide network of Authorized Service Centres, Powersoft also commits to being a reliable partner, offering fast and effective after sales service.
