Ed Ellett has joined Audinate’s Technical Advisory Board (TAB).
With an extensive career in senior leadership positions at major information technology companies, Ellett’s career spans more than 30 years. It includes time with Polycom, AMD, IBM, Dell, Digital Equipment Corporation, Cyrix Corp and Compaq Computer Corporation. He is the former Senior VP and General Manager of the Unified Communications Video Division at Polycom, and previously VP and General Manager of AMD’s Microprocessor Business Unit.
Since 2008, Ellett has been a technical and business advisor for various start-ups and venture funds. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Vyopta, a software company developing enterprise-class application software to simplify, adapt and optimise unified communications in business, as well as the Board of Advisors of Nuvixa, a cutting-edge video camera technology company providing immersive and interactive video capabilities. He also acts as a technology and business advisor to Texas Venture Labs – University of Texas at Austin.
