Creative Technology (CT) – which provides innovation, technology, project management and operational support to the systems integration market – has appointed Alvaro Cantos as the company’s Systems Integration Manager for Spain. He will report to CT Spain’s MD, Oscar Ramal, and oversee the growth of the Systems Integration division in the Spanish market.
Cantos brings more than three decades of experience working with high-level corporations and public bodies in Spain and South America, delivering audiovisual solutions to theatres, meeting rooms, auditoria, conference rooms, museums and exhibitions to the position.
‘Completing many notable audiovisual projects in Spain allowed me to lead and take part in some of the most important projects in South America,’ he says. ‘I had the opportunity and privilege to work on both the audiovisual and scenotechnic design of prominent venues such as the Teatro Biobío (Biobio Theatre), GAM Cultural Centre and Cervantes Theatre, Chile, just to name a few. Furthermore, I’ve also collaborated in other initiatives with multinational companies, including BBVA, Telefonica, Scotiabank and PwC.’
After several years in South America, Cantos returned to his home country of Spain where he sought a company that would allow him to continue developing his skills. The newly-created position of Systems Integration Manager at Creative Technology Spain ticked all the boxes. ‘Knowledge of new technologies and creativity are two essential premises for the systems integration market, and these, among many other things, define Creative Technology,’ he explains.
‘The company is known for its innovative approach and as an industry leader that exceeds customer expectations. This is something that I also feel passionate about having worked for so many years with end customers, offering a personalised service and understanding their needs and expectations.’
‘We are very excited about Alvaro joining our team,’ says Creative Technology Spain MD, Oscar Ramal. ‘We consider Alvaro’s experience in the integration sector and our company a perfect match. This means we now have all the tools necessary to successfully introduce the Systems Integration division to the Spanish market.
‘By complementing the range of services offered by CT globally, we have the support and negotiation strength of the CT Group and its parent company, NEP, making our collective relationships with suppliers, customers and collaborators more advantageous. The new Systems Integration division at CT Spain, with Alvaro at the helm, will cover the needs of our current and new clients in Spain and Portugal, and also in the south of France.’
