Bose Professional has appointed Kenn LeGault as Vice President of Engineering.
LeGault brings more than three decades of engineering and leadership experience across significant global brands including Avid Technology, DreamWorks Animation, Dolby Laboratories and Amazon.
This experience includes leadership roles at Avid where he worked on audio recording and editing products such as Pro Tools; at Amazon where he led the team responsible for Alexa Hybrid Engine (cloud/edge processing) for speech recognition; and at Dolby, contributing to Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision products across Cinema, Broadcast and Mobile business segments.
‘The majority of my career has been focused on professional and prosumer audio,’ LeGault says. ‘I am very passionate about media technology and applications for entertainment and communication. I have been fortunate to be a part of several industry-changing initiatives, and I am now excited to help Bose Professional advance their technology and products to the next level.’
‘Kenn’s deep understanding of the relationship between technology and system design and performance provides valuable insight on how customers interact with products, what installers and system designers need, and how to best integrate these into solutions that help our end customers achieve their goals,’ adds Bose Professional CEO, John Maier.
