Audiologic has announced ‘strategic changes’ in its operation, following its growth during 2023 – Kristy Shepherd joins the company as Senior Marketing Manager, while Laura Davidson leaves her post in from Internal Sales to take on the role of an Internal Business Manager.

Kristy Shepherd and Laura DavidsonShepherd brings 20 years’ marketing experience in the A/V industry, including 13 years at Reflex and more recently running her own marketing company, to he new position. ‘I started in the audiovisual industry at the same time as Audiologic was founded, so while developing my career, Audiologic has always been alongside me as a trusted and respected brand. To now be a part of the team that I have grown with, is an exciting opportunity to build out and execute on a defined go-to-market strategy.’

Davidson’s move from Internal Sales to take on the role of an Internal Business Manager follows the company’s belief that, over the two years since the first internal business manager role was created, there is more business outside of the scope of usual regular A/V customers.

‘Laura will be a great addition to the Business Manager team with an already solid knowledge from her time working on Internal Sales,’ says Stuart Leader, Senior Sales Manager.

‘I am delighted to welcome Kristy to the Senior Management Team at Audiologic, and welcome Laura’s development path at Audiologic – internal development of staff is equally as important as making new hires,’ says Audiologic Managing Director, Andy Lewis. ‘A “people first” ethos has always been of focus and these moves strengthen our offering and value to those we service. Kristy brings years of industry experience and her ideas align well with our objectives. Laura has proven that she can now craft the internal skills learned internally to a more customer-facing role.’

Since 2019, Audiologic has been supported and subsequently led by Olex Communications, who continues to support and consult through these changes and at group level with the EAV Group, having acquired Audiologic in 2022. ‘Olex has undoubtedly positioned Audiologic (externally) as a true-value added distributor over the years, something we’ve been perfecting for almost 20 years now,’ Lewis adds. ‘Their achievements for us have been second to none. They’ve made some critical decisions which include a new website, revolutionising our customer engagement and CRM systems, pivotal campaign activity such as Tech Tuesdays and maintaining the most successful media engagement we’ve seen to date.’
