Matteo Cingolani has joined the team at Acoustica Beyma R&D department as Electroacoustic Engineer.
Having obtained a PhD in acoustics from the University of Bologna, Cingolani is an Italian electro-acoustic engineer, sound processing and audio hardware enthusiast. His research was primarily focused on the study of wave propagation in periodic structures and the application of acoustic metamaterials in loudspeakers and audio systems.
During the course of his PhD studies, he collaborated with the Research & Development department of an Italian professional audio company, working on the optimisation of transducers and a vented-port subwoofers.
