AtlasIED has promoted Charlie Kowalczyk to the position of Director of Support Services, taking on the role from Dick Snider who is retiring.
Kowalczyk currently serves as AtlasIED’s Domestic Sales & Operations Manager, a position he has held for ten years. His experience at the company, knowledge of the complexities and critical nature of AtlasIED GlobalCom deployments, and established relationships with certified transportation resellers and transportation clients suit him to succeed Snider.
‘The passion this company has for client support and system reliability is unparalleled, and I feel lucky to have worked with them for this long,’Snider says. ‘I have no doubt that Charlie will bring a fresh perspective and energy to the role, and I look forward to ensuring a smooth and successful transition.’
Snider has spent 16 years pioneering AtlasIED’s Platinum Assurance Plan and adding value with preventive maintenance, service, and extended warranty programs for the company’s complex, mission-critical deployments across airports, hospitals and transit hubs.
‘After being a part of the AtlasIED family for ten years, I’m honored to make the transition to Director of Support Services,’ Kowalczyk adds. ‘I’m passionate about providing the best possible customer experience, and I congratulate Dick on his many years of doing just that. I look forward to continuing his established legacy.’
Snider will continue with AtlasIED part-time as Kowalczyk steps into the new role to ensure a seamless transition and support contract administration.
