Portuguese acoustic solutions manufacturer Vicoustic has appointed Susana Gaspar as its International Sales Manager.
Originally from London, Gaspar is an Economics graduate who most recently worked as a Banking Assistant at The Phone House, focusing on European markets with special responsibilities in the Spanish and Belgian sectors. In addition to managing the overall development of Vicoustic’s international sales, Gaspar will work closely with the company’s distributor network to help identify new business opportunities and develop marketing strategies in different territories.
Since its foundation in 2007, Vicoustic has experienced an accented growth that contradicts the current economic climate in Portugal. The company’s product portfolio includes an extensive range of acoustic panels and construction materials that are currently supplied to the Music & Broadcast, Hi-Fi & Home Cinema and Industrial markets worldwide. In line with international business developments, the number of company employees has also risen significantly during the past two years.
‘We are delighted to welcome Susana Gaspar to our team,’ says Vicoustic CEO, Cesar Carapinha. ‘Her experience in international business is a valuable asset that will not only allow us to give more focused attention to each of our distributors, but will also enable us to optimise our future strategies to keep up with an ever-increasing and demanding client portfolio.’
‘I have already experienced first hand the highly motivating energy that Vicoustic emanates and this is key to the company’s success,’ Gaspar says. ‘Now I’m looking forward to working with both existing and prospective distributors, managing the growth and profit of international sales and of course ‘wearing the colours’ and representing Vicoustic at international events.’
