Mark Donovan has assumed the newly created position of Sales Engineer – Installed Sound at Audio-Technica’s US operation.

In his new position, Donovan will work closely with Audio-Technica US Vice President of Sales, Marc Lee Shannon, and the rest of the sales team as Audio-Technica’s primary technical resource for installed sound contractors, consultants and architects. He will ensure the ‘proper and successful implementation’ of A-T products and technology in the marketplace while determining the application needs of customers. He will also work with A-T’s sales department to enhance overall value and service to customers, and cultivate new accounts.

Donovan brings with him more than 20 years of experience in audio, engineering and management, having most recently worked at B&B Educational Music Service, where he served in various capacities since 1995, as Audio-Video Systems Design Engineer, Electronics Service Manager and Electronics Service Technician. Prior to that, he worked as Electronics Service Manager at Alpha Music. Donovan holds a Certified Technology Specialist designation with InfoComm International and is a member of the AES. He is also an avid bass player and live sound engineer.
