Filling two newly created sales positions at Lawo, Gregor Erlitz and Rainer Litfin are Director of Sales Northeast Asia and Director of Sales Germany/Austria respectively.
Gregor Erlitz worked for Lawo for five years as a sales engineer before taking this new position. Due to the growing importance of Asia’s emerging markets, Erlitz has been focusing on the support and development of business relations in China and Japan since 2006. The new role has been prompted by the Asia market’s high dynamics and its complex business relations, and will enable Lawo to respond to Asian customers’ needs more quickly and effectively.
Having worked for Lawo since 1985, Rainer Litfin gained systems expertise working in Test Bay and Commissioning and Service and Support roles, including all stages of manufacture from hardware to the configuration of all Lawo consoles, regardless of the product generation. Having transferred to the sales department in 2003, he worked with German and international customers for three years. Following the geographical restructuring of the sales department in 2006, Litfin has been exclusively responsible for customers in Germany and Austria.
