Harman Professional has promoted Scott Robbins to Executive Vice President of Sales. Effective immediately, Robbins assumes worldwide responsibility for sales operations including management of Harman Professional’s regional sales programmes, its target market sales programs and all technical service and support.
‘Scott Robbins has played a pivotal role in building and optimising Harman Professional’s sales structure,’ says Harman Pro President, Blake Augsburger. ‘He has also demonstrated a critical appreciation for consistent bottom-line performance and an understanding that for our customers to be successful they need audio technologies that differentiate them from commodity players. These important characteristics qualify him to lead our worldwide sales initiative and I am confident he will deliver for our customers, our partners and other stakeholders.”
Robbins is a 12-year veteran of Harman Professional having been with Crown International when it was acquired by Harman in 2000. Prior to his appointment as VP of Sales, he was Senior Director of Worldwide Sales, and before this he held a range of senior sales roles with Harman Professional and Crown Audio. He has more than 25 years experience in professional audio sales and previously worked with Bose Professional. He holds an associates degree in Electronic Engineering and a Bachelors Degree in Organisation Management.
‘I consider it an opportunity and an honour to lead the sales efforts for Harman Pro and improve the support for customers across all our brands,’ Robbins says. ‘Our customers test the thresholds of creative and engineering excellence every day and I am determined to match their creativity and energy with similar commitment.’
