Netia has promoted Francis Freihuber to the position of Vice President of its Netia Management Board. He is based at Netia’s headquarters in Claret and reports directly to Philippe Fort.
Freihuber has been with Netia for the past five years, serving as the company’s Operations Director. His new role builds on his experience developing and refining Netia client support services, and on his extensive knowledge of the broadcast industry.
‘Francis has a very strong IT-based engineering background and a wealth of experience working in the broadcast industry, both complemented by an intuitive understanding of our customers and their needs,’ says Netia CEO, Philippe Fort. ‘He has been key to Netia’s continued success, and we’re very pleased to name him to this new management role.’
During his time as Operations Director, Freihuber simplified client support and enhanced customer satisfaction through the creation of a support team with a new hotline and ticketing procedure. He will continue to supervise the training department and oversee a team of 17 operations staff.
Prior to joining Netia, Freihuber worked for France Television and its France 3 regional channel, where he led IT for projects such as the coverage of French election and headed up the R&D department.
Freihuber is a graduate of French engineering school École Privée des Sciences Informatiques (EPSI).
