Meyer Sound has appointed Marc Goossens to the newly created position of Business Development Manager, Installation Markets, to serve ‘as a key point of contact supporting principal players in the global installation market’.
In his new role, Goossens will identify opportunities for Meyer Sound’s growth and coordinate its efforts take best advantage of them – from initial systems concept to final commissioning and user training.
Working as part of the company’s sales team, Goossens reports to Antonio Zacarias, VP of Worldwide Sales.
‘Collaboration with consultants is pivotal to Meyer Sound’s ability to extend our presence in the installation market,’ Zacarias says. ‘Marc has worked on some of the most complex A/V systems, and brings with him invaluable technical expertise and industry knowledge that are sure to benefit our installation projects.’
Prior to Meyer Sound, Goossens was Senior VP, CTO and CIO at FUNA International Inc, which specialises in the design, integration and project management of large scale and highly complex A/V systems. He was previously co-founder and CEO of TeleDimensions International Inc. (TDI) before it was merged with FUNA in 2007.
