Crown Audio has appointed Phillip Scobee as Business Segment Manager for Tour Sound.
Before joining Crown, Scobee served as Product Manager for Concert and Commercial Sound at Electro-Voice, where he handled all elements of product development and support for the live sound market. He also previously held the position of Director of Operations for Morris Leasing, a full-service design/build production company serving the audio, lighting and production markets. Additionally, he has held multiple positions as a systems engineer and head audio engineer and contributed technical articles to various professional audio publications. In his new role at Crown, Scobee will oversee Crown’s tour sound business strategy and direction including product development, marketing and sales. He will report to Marc Kellom, Senior Director of Engineering & Marketing for Crown.
