Yamaha Music Europe has undertaken changes to its marketing, sales and technical support within the European Commercial Audio organisation, resulting in the addition of dedicated Commercial Installed Sound specialists to its sales teams in France and Germany.
Commercial Installed Sound specialists are also being recruited in the UK, which complement the recent appointment of new staff to the UK Commercial Audio sales force.
A new position, based in London, has also been created to strengthen the company’s global PA application engineering capability. Following the recent departure of Nick Cook to form his own strategic marketing company, the role of the Marketing Director Commercial Audio is taken on by current European Marketing Director Pro Music & Pro Audio, Nils-Peter Keller.
‘The creation of new positions for Global PA Application Engineering and Commercial Installed Sound underlines Yamaha’s strategy to boost its position as a high-quality pro audio manufacturer across decisive fields of technology,’ says Yamaha Music Europe Senior Director, Ryo Kasai.
‘We are more than pleased to have been able to assume the responsibility for global PA training content and application engineering for the most complex audio network applications from the London R&D office location. The restructuring allows us at the same time to focus staff competence onto the installed sound market more locally, which is a prerequisite for achieving the best service level in the European installation markets’.
With the introduction of the Commercial Installation Solutions (CIS) series, Yamaha has launched an entirely new series of products for that specific segment of the market
