Crown Audio has promoted Brian Pickowitz to Market Manager for Tour Sound, making him responsible for the development of product and growth strategies for the tour sound market.

In his new role, Pickowitz will provide technical training in the US and abroad, and work in conjunction with JBL to coordinate the use of JBL loudspeakers with Crown amplifiers in tour sound systems. He will also work directly with clients in designing, developing and implementing touring sound systems, and integrating Crown amplifiers in live sound applications. He will report to Crown Marketing Manager, Andy Flint.

‘Since day one, Brian has been an invaluable asset to the Crown team,’ Flint says. ‘As Market Manager for Tour Sound, Brian brings a wealth of product and engineering expertise, combined with the ability to precisely evaluate his customers’ needs and provide them with the best solutions for their requirements.’

Pickowitz has been with Crown since 2004, most recently serving as Business Developer for Tour Sound, and previously worked as a project manager and a design engineer in the company’s engineering department. ‘Crown has set the standard in tour sound providing the highest performing amplifiers in the market. I’m excited about the opportunity to meet with new and existing customers, helping them to meet the challenges they encounter in live sound environments,’ says Pickowitz.
