Sonifex has the latest company to licence Audinate’s Dante technology.
‘The addition of Dante to our AVN AES67 product range gives us compatibility with the majority of AoIP audio products on the market,’ says Sonifex MD, Marcus Brooke. ‘We’re initially adding Dante compatibility to our new Portal range of multichannel audio mix-matrices, where physical audio inputs will be freely mixed and routed with AES67/Dante streams in a simple and intuitive way to both physical outputs and AES67/Dante streams, while also adding DSP functions (eg gain) at inputs, outputs and crosspoints. Other Dante based products will naturally follow on quickly after this.’
