It was an appropriate opportunity to promote their Tom Tom Club album, Genius of Live – which, alongside its regular formats is also being released on 8-track through Cloud 8, Burnett's ‘dead-format’ label.

The subject of a recent Fast-and-Wide blog posting, the Dallas museum is now open, welcoming visitors to its inaugural exhibition, Conceived in Cars/Birth of the Eight Track 1965.
