Assistive listening technology specialist Contacta Systems continues to build its presence in Scandinavia with a new distribution deal in Sweden, which sees the UK-based company form a partnership with Special Elektronik, a leading distributor of A/V technology, lighting, cable TV and fibre technology.
With headquarters in Karlstad, Special Elektronik will also retail Contacta’s hearing loops, IR and RF systems from its regional sales offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Halmstad and Umeå.
‘We are seeing a growing demand in our market for assistive listening solutions and were looking to have our own exclusive brand,’ says Special Elektronik CEO, Ake Larsson. ‘Contacta products and support tools combine quality and performance, which is what our customers expect from us. Having a complete portfolio of technologies is a real benefit and we hope for a long-term successful partnership with Contacta.’
