Pulse Middle East is claiming to have set a new standard for audio excellence in nightclub venues in the Middle East. Located in Dubai’s Meydan Grandstand, the exclusive Epik Club reckons now to offer a groundbreaking audiovisual installation to its visitors.
Based in the UAE and serving clients across the MENA region and beyond, Pulse ME specialises in AVL integration for nightlife, museums and places of worship. The company’s long-standing relationship with Martin Audio dates to the team’s touring days, beginning with the W8L Longbow with the LE1500 wedge monitor becoming the preference for Martin Audio products. For the Epik installation,
Pulse’s team chose the Wavefront Precision WPS system for the 25,000sq-ft Epik venue – a decision driven by several compelling factors.
‘The WPS stands out not only for its technical specifications but also for its ability to reproduce sound with such fidelity and transparency,’ says Pulse Head of Audio, Samer Bachour. ‘This makes it an ideal choice for high-quality audio projects.’
The deployment of 12 WPS boxes per side has lent a powerful environment to the nightclub, capable of handling the dynamic range and complexity of the its artists. Additionally six WPM units were used alongside SX115 subs as DJ monitors. This ensured that the DJ had the same high-quality audio as the main PA system, providing a consistent and accurate reference.
‘It’s a masterpiece, bringing music to life with perfect authenticity,’ says Pulse Middle East Managing Partner, Joe Chidiac. ‘This extraordinary PA transforms any space into a concert hall, delivering sound just as it was intended to be heard.’
The installation at Epik – which holds upwards of 1,000 people – not only met, but exceeded expectations, showcasing WPS as contender for high quality audio installations.
