Nestled in the heart of central London, Soho Works Dean Street offers collaborative workspaces spread across four floors, including a coworking space, private offices, meeting rooms and the new production studio. Recently, the facility saw Audient’s ASP880 8-channel mic preamp chosen for a new production studio in the prestigious Soho House members club.
Consisting of a spacious control room and live room, the studio is tailored to meet the needs of artists, writers and producers and available to Soho House members.
‘The live room has the space to be able to record up to eight vocals and instruments at one time and Soho House needed an option for a bank of preamps to cater for multichannel recording. ASP880 was the natural choice,’ explains Gavin Miller, owner of installation specialist Arcadia Solutions who supplied and installed the equipment.
The live room is cabled directly to the control room patchbay allowing clients to patch into an array of outboard, which includes the Audient ASP880.
