A 1,100-seat live music and entertainment venue located in North Tonawanda, just north of Buffalo, New York, the ‘Riv’ – or, more formally, the West Herr Riviera Theatre – currently stages more than 120 events a year including artists such as Lindsey Buckingham, Ted Nugent, Wayne Newton, Frankie Avalon and The Beach Boys. Its is also known for its Friday Night Tribute series, featuring tribute artists who bring patrons high-quality entertainment at affordable prices.
The theatre recently completed a 7,000sq-ft lobby expansion that features an expansive bar and concessions area, ADA-compliant restrooms, an outdoor patio, a box office and new staff offices. The expansion marks a new era for the cherished venue, with improved amenities for its patrons.
While these improvements primarily focused on amenities for patrons in its outer areas, the inside of the theatre – on stage – also recieved an upgrade in the form of Heil Sound microphones. A full complement of Heil Sound mics, including the new RC 37 wireless capsules, join the existing Yamaha/RCF main sound system.
