Florida-based window intercom and assistive listening systems specialist Contacta Inc has bolstered its market presence with new distribution deals serving the A/V, security and construction and markets.

Contacta Inc has been manufacturing, specifying and distributing assistive listening technology through its network of dealers in North America for the past 17 years. The company’s range of window intercoms systems, which enhance communication at secure windows, will now be available through premier electrical, communications and utility distribution and supply chain solutions company, Wesco Anixter. Armortex, ShureSAFE, Safewood Designs, Covenant Security Equipment, Intercoms Online and DK Hardware Supply are also now offering systems from Contacta Inc’s window intercom range, which covers communication through standard glass, Plexiglass and ballistic windows, meaning openings or holes in the glass are not required and security is maintained. Each system comes with built-in hearing loop technology, helping make every window ADA compliant and allowing access to clear sound for hearing aid users.

Also known for their assistive listening technologies, Contacta Inc’s deal with DK Hardware Supply will see the retailer carry IR and RF systems alongside Contacta Inc’s window intercoms.
