The Chinese Soundking Group – parent company of the Cadac, Studiomaster and Carlsbro brands – is the latest partner to join the Ravenna community. Specifically, the collaboration concerns Soundnet – a subsidiary of the Soundking Group – whose SND Network audio transport technology is already Ravenna-compatible.
Soundnet will provide highly customised AES67 OEM solutions tailored to the specific needs of individual manufacturers, significantly contributing to the expansion of the Ravenna ecosystem.
A further benefit to the Ravenna Audio-over-IP community is likely to be its increased take-up by Chinese manufacturers and a growing base of end-users through Soundking’s extensive sales network and promotional channels. This will enable Ravenna technology to extend beyond traditional broadcast applications into new sectors such as education, live events and public address systems, greatly enhancing the recognition of the Ravenna brand.
‘Soundking’s expertise in professional audio and modern innovation will contribute to the development of more advanced, cost-effective Ravenna-AES67 products,’ notes Xianggui Wang, President of the Soundking Group. ‘Customers and manufacturers will be able to achieve their goals with lower budgets, benefiting from a wider range of AES67-Ravenna applications. This will make it easier to build more complex, interoperable audio networks.’
‘There is no doubt that this partnership will open up new opportunities, both for existing Ravenna users with a new range of products and an expanded ecosystem, and for the Ravenna community as a whole with the possibility to expand our network at every level,’ adds Lawo’s Andreas Hildebrand. ‘In short, Soundking’s integration into the Ravenna partnership benefits customers with enhanced system performance, flexibility, and scalability, while also contributing to the growth and strength of the Ravenna community.’
