Taking place at the end of January, Poland’s largest annual charity event, the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) Grand Final 2025 set a new fundraising record, surpassing €42.2m). Its sound provision was met Gigant Sound, who delivered, installed, prepared and operated systems that included Outline’s flagship GTO line array.

Founded by Jerzy Owsiak, WOŚP is dedicated to improving healthcare by providing medical equipment to public hospitals. Owsiak, also the creator of the renowned Pol’and’Rock Festival, has been instrumental in shaping the country’s most significant charitable and cultural events.

Gigant Sound deployed a GTO for the main stage, with a dedicated TV studio area served by Outline’s compact Superfly enclosures. Both were driven by Outline’s FPGA-based Newton processors.

For low frequency reinforcement in all areas, Gigant Sound also incorporated Outline DBS 18-2 subs into the main stage and TV studio set-up. The entire system design and configuration were meticulously planned using Outline’s OpenArray 3D acoustic simulation software, enabling Gigant Sound to achieve precise coverage and performance across the vast event area.

Regarding the TV studio area, he adds: ‘Superfly was ideal for this application because, despite its compact size and lightweight build, it delivers tremendous SPL with studio-quality sound. Two Superfly modules provide almost the same LF/MF performance as a single GTO cabinet, allowing us to adapt our rigging while maintaining sonic integrity. Additionally, the cardioid characteristics of its LF section help keep unwanted low frequencies off the stage, making it perfect for confined spaces.’

Under Taborowski’s leadership, Gigant Sound – Europe’s largest Outline GTO inventory holder – continues to set the benchmark for sound at Poland’s most significant events. The 2025 WOŚP Grand Final was a further step up.
