Melody House, the GCC distributor for Radial Engineering, supplied a number of Radial DI units to Oman rental company, Talentz.
Its expanding inventory has contributed to Oman becoming a regular stop for artists visiting the Middle East. The company has also broadened its coverage, and recently provided their services for the AR Rahman concert in Dubai.
The purchase includes the Radial J48, has been designed from the ground up to deliver the most natural tone, avoiding any alteration on the source signal, delivering the true character of the instrument to the mixing console without adding distortion or introducing artifacts.
Running on 48V phantom power, the Radial J48 is an active direct box that claims an exceptionally linear response that from 20Hz up to well above 40kHz. Its low distortion is achieved using a digital switching power supply that raises the internal operating rail voltage for added headroom and improved signal handling.
