Still a fairly new distribution partner for Danish Interpretation Systems, TECO has placed an order for two DDS 5900 conference systems for an installation in Egypt – the first to arrive in the country. Both systems are destined for the Airotel Hotel in Cairo.
DIS’ analogue CDS 4000 Discussion System has seen wide use in the Middle East during the past 20 years, setting high expectation for the digital DDS 5900, especially as it comes to market at a lower cost.
The DDS 5900 Digital Discussion System comprises a central unit and single programmable multi-user type units, enabling discussion, interpretation, grouping, VOX (voice activation) and encryption. The system supports conferencing functions, as well as two language interpretation and language distribution.
As the political situation in Egypt improves, DIS is well prepared to deliver it new conference solutions to further installations through its extensive network of local agents.
