Roland Systems Group (RSG) has appointed Scan Computers as a UK dealer for both its professional audio and video products.

Headquartered in Bolton, Scan has a dedicated Pro Service division to handle pro audio and pro video clients, including recording studios, schools, filmmakers and musicians. Counting more than 25 years’ experience in providing PC-based solutions to the audio and video markets, Scan’s focus will be on supplying small-format A/V switchers, such as the VR-3 A/V Mixer, VR-5 AV Mixer/Recorder and V-40HD Multi Format Video Switcher, the VC-30HD Video Converter and the M-200i iPad Controllable Digital Mixing Console.

Taking advantage of the growth in the popularity of webstreaming – especially in the education sector – Roland’s growing lineup of streaming-ready A/V mixers and converters is a close fit with Scan clients, as they adapt webstreaming and video for remote learning and web conferencing. Combining intuitive interfaces, flexibility and compact footprints, the products enable Scan to supply tailored systems for a variety of applications.
