DIS secures Gulf distribution

DIS and NMK agree Gulf distributionDanish Interpretation Systems has appointed NMK Middle East as exclusive distributor of its Conference Solution range to Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. The move consolidates DIS’ presence in Egypt and Jordan, with TECO and AVS.

Recently established in Dubai’s Silicon Oasis, NMK Middle East will bring the full range of DIS products to the Gulf region, including the company’s new System 5900 Digital Discussion System, under the control of DIS Product Specialist, Stuart Stephens. DIS technologies include systems for discussion, conferencing, interpretation and parliamentary session applications.

A part of the Informationsteknik Scandinavia Group acquired by Shure Incorporated in 2011, DIS is represented through a network of distributors in more than 80 countries, and operated offices in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Thailand.
