All Access Inc has been appointed distributor for the full range of Audient products in Japan, including the British manufacturer’s iD22 USB interface and ASP880 mic preamp/ADC.

Hiyu Nagaoka who runs pro sales, works closely with All Access Inc president Cozy Hattori and confirms the faith they have in the brand: ‘The Audient products have both superb sound quality and excellent usability, the whole range is very professional.’

All Access has already returned Audient’s faith with early sales, including an iD22 to songwriter, producer and recording/mixing engineer Suzuki Daichi Hideyuki. ‘The iD22 is just what all musicians/engineers need for their desktop creations,’ he says. ‘I am totally surprised at how incredible the AD/DA quality is against studio standard I/O, the simple DSP mixer section, and the well designed monitor control section is just fab.’

Nagaoka is a former student of the University of West London, where Audient equipment is used for teaching. ‘The ASP8024 mic pres and EQ have a stunning audio quality and are very precise. You get exactly what you hear – a simple, but sophisticated design which is easy to understand – and that same Audient mic pre design is used throughout the whole product range,’ he says.
