Formerly Professional Audio Technology, PAT has announced a name change – to Professional Audio & Television Pty Ltd.
PAT MD Patrick Salloch explains: ‘The name change was inevitable for our business, as we continue our diversification within the broadcast industry. We felt it was important that the name of our company reflects the industries we are servicing and the technology solutions we provide nowadays. As technologies are merging and our company is expanding its reach well beyond the ‘audio only’ applications, it was important to us to incorporate television into our name, but keep the well known and established PAT brand.’
Professional Audio & Television has also announced its appointment as exclusive distributor of Orban television processors in Australia. Salloch hints at further news is to follow: ‘We have seen tremendous growth within our business and I am looking forward to continuously improving our product portfolio while assuring that we still supply the world-class services our customers are used to from PAT.’
Four years after its incorporation, PAT has grown into one of the leading broadcast supplier and solutions provider in Australia, servicing most of the major broadcasters and OB providers in the country.
