Harman Professional has appointed Benelux distributor AudioXL as the exclusive distributor of the JBL Intellivox and Axys loudspeaker lines for the Benelux region.

In October 2013, Harman acquired Duran Audio and its flagship Intellivox and Axys lines, before incorporating them into the JBL product line-up. ‘Intellivox was the first digitally steerable array on the market, and the engineers from Duran Audio are widely regarded as the pioneers of and the authority on this technology,’ says AudioXL General Manager, William van Druten. ‘Intellivox is a great solution for delivering clear and intelligible speech in difficult acoustic environments and there are already many high-profile applications of the products around the world. This, combined with AudioXL’s experienced and skilled team and the wider portfolio of Harman products, is a recipe for success. I am sure we can continue to grow the market for the product and deliver fantastic solutions for many more projects.’

In recent years, Intellivox found success in the installation, worship and A/V markets and the Axys line is also used by rental companies in the region.
