Delta Sound has added 43 EM Acoustics Halo-C compact line array enclosures to its UK inventory, bringing its stock to more than 130 units including the system installed in the Royal Albert Hall in 2013.

Delta Sound‘The system has already proved itself to us many times over, not least of which by winning the tender with SBD to re-equip the Royal Albert Hall,’ says Delta Operations Director, Jonathan Bell. ‘Going through that process enabled us to evaluate the system extremely thoroughly. In short, it’s an extraordinary product. The clarity and detail is exceptional, but what is truly outstanding in our opinion is the level of accuracy and ability to control dispersion over significant distances.

‘When the time came to increasing our inventory of rental stock, we therefore decided on Halo-C, first as a complement to the existing system in the RAH as it allows us to quickly provide a reconfigured system with precisely the same control and accuracy as before,’ he continues. ‘Second, it enables us to provide that same predictability and transparency on many other live events and productions, not to mention the build quality and fantastic support we receive from the team at EM Acoustics. All in all, it was a very easy choice for us,’

‘Delta Sound and Sound by Design have tested the Halo Compact system extensively prior to their purchase,’ says EM Acoustics Operations Director, Mike Wheeler. ‘They’ve used Halo-C not just on the shows at the Royal Albert Hall, but on many prestigious and acoustically challenging shows in different venues. Clearly when it came to adding to their rental inventory they were determined to invest in a system which was flexible enough and robust enough to perform exactly as expected day after day in a wide variety of applications. As one of the premier suppliers to the corporate event industry, Delta Sound’s decision to add Halo-C to its mainstream rental stock is a testament to the all-round qualities and adaptability of the Halo Compact system, in addition to its exceptional sonic qualities.’
