AC Entertainment Technologies (AC-ET) has been named exclusive UK & Ireland distributor for the Dynamic Audio Device (DAD) range of audio solutions.
Targetting rental companies, installers and venues, AC-ET Audio & Visual Director Peter Butler, comments: ‘After spending many months looking for a brand that would live up to our criteria of performance, reliability and value for money, a visit to the Dynamic Audio Device brand’s parent company facility in Italy confirmed that this was the right manufacturer for us to partner with.’
The DAD range covers small PA loudspeaker solutions and power amplifiers, to high-end, large-scale line-array systems. While all products will be available through AC-ET, the company will initially focus on the distribution of three lines of active loudspeaker systems – each features different models to suit a particular type of application, and includes subwoofers and accessories.
The Fusion Series of two-way loudspeakers is designed for FOH, side fill, stage monitoring and installations. Available in active and passive versions, the loudspeakers offer several configurations, from full-range through to multi-amplified systems when combined with DAD subwoofers. Active models are equipped with switching mode power supplies and bi-amp technology, class-D for LF sections and class-AB for HF drivers.
The Live Series of active and passive speakers claims ‘reference quality’ performance. The line employs high-density polypropylene enclosures, with subwoofers assembled in multi-layer birch plywood.
The Event Series is an affordable range featuring flexible control, compact and lightweight design, and built-in hardware for suspension. The range includes eight models, in active and passive versions, including 8-, 10-, 12- and 15-inch full-range enclosures.
