Units from ARX’s MSX series of audio splitters were used extensively in the audio system for Pope Francis’s recent visit to Sri Lanka.
Chaminda De Mel at Panadura-based Creative Entertainment supplied the audio system for the seafront Mass in Colombo, where Pope Francis canonised Sri Lanka’s first Saint 17th Century missionary Joseph Vaz.
In a sale arranged by ARX’s Sri Lanka representative Mohan Jayasuriya, Creative Entertainment selected four MSX 32 TALL Active units and an MSX 48 passive mic/line splitter for the event. The splitters were used extensively for broadcast audio microphone splitting and signal distribution over a large area of coverage along the Galle Face Green from the Galle Face Hotel to the Old Parliament, opposite Taj Samudra on the waterfront in central Colombo.
