Having focused on Klotz Digonomics over recent years, Thomas Klotz has now established Klotz Communications GmbH, based in Munich and targetting the broadcast, conference and installed sound markets.
Andre Sauer – who led the growth of Klotz in the Asian territories – joins the venture as a shareholder and operating partner, overseeing worldwide marketing and distribution. He is based in Perth, Australia, and brings with him a team of distribution partners to ensure continuous growth of the brand and its market position.
An agreement has already been struck between Klotz communications and Berlin-based Media Logic for exclusive distribution and marketing of Klotz communication products in European markets. Media Logic – who will trade under the banner of Klotz communications Europe – has a strong network of regional partners. Klotz communications Europe will oversee the introduction of new products for the broadcast and PA market, and will take over the service and support for existing Klotz users. Klotz Systems Ltd, Shenzhen, is the exclusive distributor and marketing agent for Klotz communications in China. Together with a number of local partners, the company services the markets for broadcast products and conference systems.
With these teams in place Thomas Klotz reckons to focus on innovation and product development, ‘so that existing users and new customers the world over will benefit from our innovative products and first-class service’.
